The Smart City 4.0 Sustainable Lab – University of Parma, with technical sponsorship from the IEEE Smart Cities Program (smartcities.ieee.org) and support of the Emilia Romagna region, is organizing a one-day workshop on Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) and Smart Cities (SCTs): “ICT for Smart Cities & Societies: What’s Going on and What’s Next.”
Participation is free, but attendance is limited by the conference room occupancy at about 80, so pre-registration is mandatory: please register by Nov. 20, 2022.

Venue
The conference will take place in Parma in the S. Elisabetta conference center 4 at University Campus “Parco Area delle Scienze”.
The campus can be reached by car (from Tangenziale take exit n. 15 – Langhirano/Campus) and by bus n. 7 and n. 21 (the closest bus stop is the third inside the Campus, in front of the Engineering building 6). Some fast rides (Campus Express) are available from the railway station.

The University of Parma Campus can be reached from the city center by southbound buses 7 and 21, which stop at the central railway station (1 in the map), along Viale Toschi 2, along Viale Mariotti 3 and along Viale Toscanini (4, only bus 21).
